About Us

Meet Anthony Mwangi, the Managing Director of Sunland Insurance Brokers. With 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, he’s your go-to expert for all things insurance.

Anthony’s journey in insurance began at Madison Insurance and Fairway Insurance Brokers, where he honed his skills and knowledge.

He also served as the General Manager of Insurance at Family Bank Group, showcasing his versatility in the financial world.

Education-wise, Anthony holds an LLB (HONS) from the University of Nairobi (UoN) and a Masters in Strategic Planning from Copenhagen Business School.

He also holds a diploma from the Kenya School of Law (KSL). His commitment to professionalism is evident through his membership in the Associate of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators – Kenya Chapter and his position as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.

Anthony is also the current Chairman of the Association of Insurance Brokers of Kenya (AIBK). Under his leadership, AIBK aims to represent the interests of all insurance brokers in Kenya.  And this has gone beyond the Kenyan borders, as he has represented AIBK across Africa in countries such as Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Mauritius and more.

Beyond the boardroom, he enjoys a good game of golf and is happily married with children.
